I’m Good Keeps Breaking explores equity and inclusivity as basic acts of choice and rights. The series is created to encourage inclusivity and a sensory experience of touch- by providing time to be present and have a quiet dialogue with your thoughts or with other people.
The series starts with single words and gestures in ASL, growing with phrases, braille, and glass as Stevie shifts and rises. As the phrases increase in length, the stoneware is abstracted to illustrate the phrases.
The 128 pieces are listed in order through the months they were created in from December 2023 through May 2024. This illustrates the artist’s changes of her thoughts and feelings throughout this time of processing the events in her life. There are pieces that Stevie remembers the specific event of what she was experiencing while creating the work and processing her feelings through creating the stoneware. bowls, plates and platters which explore and captures the infinite ocean of feelings and events.

The Breaker series is a collection of bowls, plates, and platters which explore and capture an infinite ocean of feelings and events. Some events are challenging and turbulent, while others flow peacefully and gracefully.
